Ritmo Latino Dance Company was founded in August 2009 by Ernesto Vegas. Borrowing upon his experience as a dancer in his native Venezuela, Ernesto created Ritmo Latino Dance Company with the spirit of 
fun and friendship that is so much a part of the Salsa scene in South America.
More than a dance team, Ritmo Latino Dance Company is a diverse group of instructors, performers, musicians and students from throughout Portland who share a deep and abiding passion for Salsa.
In just a few short months, Ritmo Latino Dance Company has become a fixture on the Portland Salsa scene, and has earned critical acclaim for its performances throughout the Northwest.
